Everybody Can Be Great

Everybody Can Be Great

“Everybody can be great… because anybody can serve.” – MLK JR.

My mother (a fellow blogger) shared this quote with me today, and I couldn’t help but make a quick post about it. You constantly hear from people how they want to accomplish great things, yet the only impression they seem to make is on their couch. If you don’t know what you want to do with your life, SERVE OTHERS. Often times excuses play too large a role in our thinking. Imagine if we dedicated the time we spent thinking of excuses not to do things, on the actual task, or dream, we were trying to accomplish. Wow, maybe our days would look a little different. Get better today. Right now. Nobody is going to pick you up off the couch, and put you in a position to succeed. Everybody can be great. If your complaint is that you don’t have the money to chase your dream…sell your couch.
