Bring The Fun This Mother's Day

This Mother’s Day, whether your kids are little or have grown up, why not spend some fun family time together doing something everyone will enjoy? Below are five simple yet fulfilling Mother’s Day activities that everyone will have a blast doing - and your family will create new memories that will be cherished for years to come.

Enjoy a Weekend Getaway
Why not use Mother’s Day as the perfect reason to plan a weekend getaway? Depending on what your family loves to do - and the ages of your children - you might try a relaxing spa package, a city outing or an adventure-filled weekend camping, mountain biking or whitewater rafting.
Take a Yoga Class
Find a nearby studio that offers Mommy-and-Me yoga classes for mom and toddler to take or family classes designed for parents and older children. Weather permitting, you may be able to find some outdoor classes to make the experience even more renewing.
Visit a Winery
Children all over 21 years of age and mom love wine? Then head to a favorite or new nearby winery for a Mother’s Day wine tasting event. For moms who prefer beer, visit a local craft brewery instead.

Whichever place you head to, be sure to gift mom with a couple of bottles of her favorites from the tasting to enjoy at her leisure back home.

Plan a Day Hike

Hiking is a great way to spend time outdoors, appreciate natural beauty and exercise – and when you to with others, you bond while spending quality time together. If there are little ones or non-hikers in the family, make it a relaxed outing that doesn’t include trails that are too challenging. Be sure to plan and pack for a well-deserved Mother’s Day picnic in a scenic spot along your hike.

Take a Family Bike Ride

Throw the bikes on the car and head to a park for a couple of hours of biking with the family. Mom is guaranteed to feel special as she’s cruising around on her bike in a beautiful setting and surrounded by her favorite people.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the loving, giving and hard-working moms out there. We’re wishing you a day with loved ones that’s full of fun and joy!
