Each Earth Day, we like to commit to making our world a better place. The options for doing so are endless... pick up litter, recycle, fix any leaky faucets, nix the plastic and opt for a reusable bottle, carpool, and more! We created this activity as an option for the whole family to join in on the fun. The kids will love it, and you'll make your neighborhood a little brighter. "Bombs" away! What you'll need: - Seeds - Egg Carton - Cheesecloth - Newspaper - Blender - Water - Sieve Step 1: Pulse newspaper and water in a blender to create a mulch. Use a sieve or cheesecloth to strain out excess water. Step 2: Once strained, transfer to a bowl and mix in seeds. Make sure your mulch is moist enough to retain its shape. Step 3: Form your seed mulch into small golf-sized balls. Step 4: Place in the egg carton so they can dry out in a safe place. Step 5: "Bombs" away! Make your backyard or neighborhood a little brighter! No digging required- simply toss your seed bombs and watch them grow!
