Looking to get a little crafty this fall? We love the idea of crafting as the colors change outside, and we know that Halloween is the perfect catalyst for creativity. Here are our five favorite crafts that are creative, simple, and super family friendly. Click each activity below for a link to instructions! Batty Bat! Pair a nature walk with a craft for our favorite fall craft that’s also family friendly. Walk the neighborhood until you find enough pine cones to make a batt family. When you get home, all you'll need are some felt wings, google eyes and a little creativity. Wickedly Cute Start by having your child trace their hand onto green paper. Then you’ll cut it out and pair it with some simple cutouts and a pipe cleaner broom for a craft that is simple to create and irreplaceable if lost. Your child’s hands will only be this small once, so don’t let this year pass you by without having made this craft. Mummy Madness Kids love mummies. We do, too. That’s mostly because they’re such easy crafts to make. In this iteration, take a gingerbread man cutout (or a cookie cutter, if you have it) and use white yarn to let the kids create their own mummy. A couple of googly eyes and you’ve got a friend for life! Spooky Spider Webs Another simple craft − all you need is yarn, popsicle sticks, and hot glue. You’ll use the glue to make an asterisk design. Then, use the yarn to weave the perfect web. It’s the perfect home for the spider rings that your kids are sure to get this year on beggar’s night! Mandarin Jacks Take those packs of mandarin oranges and put them to good use! All you need is a Sharpie marker! Use it to draw jack-o-lantern faces on the top of the oranges. Now you have a cute craft that doubles as a creative snack that everyone will love! We can’t wait to see what your family comes up with. Be sure to take photos of your crafts and share them with us on social media!
