That’s when they’ll break away. But for some hands, tough isn’t tough enough. And that’s why we created Q2X ™.
Our Q2X ™ material is exclusive to QALO and was designed for people who work with their hands daily. Specifically, the material is made for people who have their hands in and out of solvents all day long. Many silicone rings will react with the solvents, eventually becoming almost soggy. We wanted to create a ring that was tougher than gasoline.
The toughest silicone ring on the market, Q2X ™ stands up to:
- Extreme temperatures from -75 degrees Fahrenheit to 575 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Solvents like gasoline, oil, mineral spirits/petroleum ethanol, butoxyethanol, power steering fluid, mineral oil, octane, ethanol, brake fluid, hydrochloric acid, ethoxyethanol, and vegetable oil.
- We mentioned the temperature above. But we forgot to mention that these rings are non-conductive. They won’t transfer those extreme temperatures to your finger. They also won’t transfer electrical charges from wires.
- Extreme force. Most silicone rings break away around 11-15 pounds. Q2X ™ stands up to 17-22 pounds.
