Every couple has a great love story to share. Most are sweet, some are hilarious, and a few are downright awkward. We love putting the QALO team on the spot and asking them a few questions. Enjoy a few of our favorite office love stories!\n\nLet’s start with Allison, the QALO Controller, and her husband. \n“How’d we meet? The PG answer is, “through a friend in college.” The real story, though? He dated my dorm mate and I snagged him up after they broke up. Don’t worry - I waited for 2 years and they only dated for a couple of months. But HECK NO this was not “love at first sight!” In fact - sometimes he still drives me nuts. Like when I was in labor with our first child. 16 hours in and just as we are about to walk out the door, he says to me, “Wait. Can I cut my fingernails first?” Yes, I did allow it. But I’ll never let him forget it, either.”\n\nKaitlin, our Senior Operations Manager, tells us that finding love can be quite an adventure …\n“Our love story started on an adventure, so it’s no real surprise that adventures are some of our favorite memories. We met on a bus ride to Tahoe with our Snowboard Club in college, and backpacking Havasupai is my favorite memory of us as a couple. For us, it was definitely “love at first sight.” Blake and I have been inseparable since the first weekend we met.”\n\nWhat office love story would be complete without internet romance and topless people? Sr. Marketing Manager and Principle Dog Lover Carrie’s story includes both …\n“How did we meet? It’s a tale as old as time. We scoured the tumultuous seas of the world wide web and as soon as our eyes fell on each other’s profiles, it was as if a bolt of lightning struck us and we were powerless against the forces pushing us to reach out to one another.\nOK fine, we are an OkCupid success story. But my version sounds so much more romantic, right?\nMy favorite memory of us as a couple takes us to our Hawaiian vacation. The entire North Shore was cut off to tourists during our trip. But since we were staying with locals, we were able to swim for hours by ourselves at a beach typically swamped with tourists. We were in one of the most beautiful places in the world and had the beach all to ourselves ... except for the occasional wild chicken, random dog, and an appearance by Bobo, the local topless swimmer.”\n\nGregg, Global Director of Product Development, followed his eyes to his heart. What light through yonder window breaks, Gregg?\n“I met Teresa in our last semester of college. Shakespeare class of all things! I definitely sat next to her because she was the hottest girl there, so yeah, I’d say it was love at first sight for us. Nearly 11 years later and we have 3 kids and a firm belief that the couple that ”wins together grins together.”’\n\nAnd Associate Marketing Manager Krystle reminds us that the best is always yet to come …\n“Even though we’ve been together for 12 years, things just keep getting better with time! In fact, my 3 favorite memories from our relationship would all be from 2018! In just one year we:\n1.) Got a PUPPY!!!!!\n2.) Had an unforgettable road trip up the California coast!\n3.) AND found out we were expecting our first child!”\nAh. Love at first sight, boyfriend sharing, and even a topless Bobo. We really have it all around here! We’d love to hear your love story!
