Creative Director

In 2025, QALO entered wearables with the launch of the QALO Smart Ring and the second-generation QALO Slim Ring. As the brand expands into health technology, we need a creative leader who can match that ambition — bringing the QALO brand to life across every paid and organic channel with speed, taste, and intention.

QALO is seeking a Creative Director to own the execution of our brand across paid social, organic social, video, and photography.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary owner of creative strategy and execution — from paid social (Meta, TikTok) and short-form video to product photography and campaign assets

  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Brand and Performance Marketing team to shape creative strategy, build testing frameworks, and iterate on what converts

  • Direct and personally produce content: shoot days, UGC briefs, motion graphics, video edits, and still campaigns — this is a hands-on role

  • Build a lean, AI-forward creative workflow using tools like Midjourney, Runway, CapCut, or equivalent to increase output velocity without sacrificing quality

  • In the first 6–12 months, build and lead a small team of 1–2 creatives and manage freelancers, editors, and production partners as the business scales

  • Maintain and evolve the QALO visual identity across all touchpoints, ensuring consistency from ads to product imagery

Requirements

  • 5+ years in brand creative, content production, or creative direction — with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior ownership capacity

  • Proven portfolio spanning paid social, video, photography, and campaign creative for a consumer product or lifestyle brand

  • Deeply hands-on: you can pick up a camera, cut a reel, or art direct a shoot — not just brief it out

  • Actively using AI creative tools (image gen, video AI, editing assistants) and already integrating them into your day-to-day workflow

  • Strong instincts for performance creative — you understand what makes content stop a scroll and how to translate data into better briefs

  • Experience working in a lean, fast-moving DTC environment where resourcefulness and ownership are non-negotiable
