QALO Holdings LLC (referred to as “QALO,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of our customers, website visitors, mobile application end users, as well as individuals whose information we collect (“you,” or “yours”) in connection with your use of our products (including any wearable devices or other devices that collect, process, or provide information) (“Products”) or services, and interaction with any of our websites or mobile applications (collectively, including the Products, the “Services”). The terms, conditions, and policies contained in this Mobile Application Privacy Policy (this “Application Privacy Policy”) supplement QALO’s general Privacy Policy (the “Master Privacy Policy”), including the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy (the “Health Data Policy”). The Master Privacy Policy and Health Data Policy, as supplemented by this Application Privacy Policy, are incorporated into and governed by our Mobile Application Terms of Use.  

We may update or modify this Application Privacy Policy at any time, by posting the updated version including the effective date of the updated version. Please review this Application Privacy Policy periodically for any updates or changes. The Application Privacy Policy is binding on all those who access our Services, whether acting as an individual or on behalf of an entity, including you and all persons, entities, or digital engines of any kind that harvest, crawl, index, scrape, spider, or mine digital content by an automated or manual process or otherwise.

Collection, Use, Disclosure, and Processing of Personal Information

 “Personal Information” is defined in the Master Privacy Policy and means information by which you may be personally identified, such as your name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, or any other identifier by which you may be contacted or identified online or offline. The Master Privacy Policy generally describes the types of Personal Information that QALO may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit our websites or use our Products or Services. The Master Privacy Policy also outlines our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing Personal Information and the choices you can make about our use of your Personal Information.

This Application Privacy Policy generally describes our collection, use, and disclosure of Health Data collected and processed by us in connection with providing certain Products and Services to you. 

Collection and Use of Certain Health Data

Our mobile application and certain of our other Services integrate with certain of our Products in order to access and collect certain health data about you, including, without limitation, your heart rate data, step count, and sleep data (the “Health Data”). When you grant permission, the Services retrieve your Health Data as collected from the Product and its in-built sensors. The Services uses this Health Data to:

  • Display your daily, weekly, and monthly health data and activity

  • Provide personalized fitness insights

Disclosing Health Data

QALO accesses and discloses Health Data solely as necessary to provide the and for supporting and improving Services functionality and user experience, as further set forth in the Health Data Policy. Any data we share with third parties except for the above purposes will be anonymized to prevent identification. 

User Control

You may have the option to revoke data access permissions or to request deletion of your data any time through your account settings on our mobile application or other Services, or by contacting us at support@qalo.com

Changes to this Application Privacy Policy

Any changes to our use of Health Data in the Services will be communicated through updates to this Application Privacy Policy, which will be effective upon being posted. You are responsible for reviewing this Application Privacy Policy periodically to ensure that you are aware of any changes to it.
